Virtual Classroom

Discover uses the technology of live, interactive, audio chatrooms to create Virtual Classrooms for our students. No matter where in the world you might be, you can meet with your teacher from the comfort of your own home or from a convenient Internet cafe, and you can arrange the class meetings to fit neatly with your own schedule.

You can receive a specifically designed individual instruction course or attend group classes at various levels of intensity and complexity. The instruction will always focus on those areas that will be most useful to you and which you wish to improve.

Using the Virtual Classroom
Using our voice enabled chatroom is really easy. You will need a set of headphones (or speakers) and a microphone. Get them ready beforehand.

After selecting the course that you'd like to take, contact your teacher by email, and agree about the time of your first, free online meeting with him/her. Your teacher will give you a one-time login information to enter the chatroom and test the software. You will go to the classroom page and enter your login information; the software will download itself in 2-3 minutes and the virtual classroom window will be open.

Your teacher will be waiting for you in the virtual classroom each time, at the previously agreed time. There, you can talk with your teacher or type to each other in a convenient type chat window; your teacher can record the class and email the resulting MP3 audio file to you. You can also use a convenient whiteboard, just like you would do in an ordinary classroom.
