To be able to teach at Discover school of virtual education, you will need to take three steps -

Step 1. Apply to teach at Discover
Before contacting Discover and applying for online teaching job, please make sure that you have -

  • a working computer and reliable Internet connection;
  • a working microphone and speakers (or a headset) to use while teaching;
  • a full, lesson-by-lesson description of the course which you would like to teach, and be ready to provide it to us;
  • additional set of self-study materials which you will send to your students in the process of teaching;
  • a working email address which will become your main communication tool with Discover school and with your students.

If you are ready to meet all the above requirements, please contact us by email to discuss your desire to teach online at Discover school of virtual education. Our worker will respond within 24 hours with an invitation to proceed and send us the information listed in Step 2.

Step 2. Obtain Registration in virtual classroom
Registration in virtual classroom takes only a few minutes and, once you have a login information, you can enter and use the classroom any time. Please note that, prior to obtaining the teacher's login information, you'll need to send us the following:

1. Your full name, country of residence, native language and the time zone in which you are located.
2. Your background (a copy of diploma).
3. Copies of certificates confirming your education level and qualifications.
4. Title(s) of the course(s) you want to teach at Discover school of virtual education.
5. Your course
description (not more than 1000 signs).
6. Your self-introduction. This is your "message" to the student audience which will be published on your own page on the Web site, so that all visitors interested in taking any of your courses can read about your experience and peculiarities of your teaching. Please, visit pages of Our Teachers as examples.
7. Mention how long you have been (were) teaching this particular course.
8. Send us 1-2 digital portrait-like photos of yourself, which will be published on your page, along with your self-introduction and the course description.
9. Provide your contact information: E-mail address, telephone, home address (this information will not be published).

Step 3. Get ready to work
As soon as we receive all necessary information from you, we will open virtual classroom registration for you and publish your page among other teachers' pages on this web site.

As soon as students start contacting us and requesting to have classes with you, you shoud be ready to communicate with them (by email or by phone), to explain the details of the learning process, if necessary. You should also be ready to meet your students in the virtual classroom for the first test meeting. There, you are expected to assist them in tuning their microphones, testing the chat software, and explaining the details of the classes structure, methodology and timetable.
