The Minister for education and science of Ukraine congratulated school students with the completion of external testing

The campaign of comprehensive testing 2008 became a big step forward which the Ukrainian educational system made, and the biggest educational reform in the recent years. The Minister Ivan Vakarchuk declared this after the completion of external testing session 2008.

"This is a trial for not only applicants to enter the higher educational institutions, but also for the society as a whole. The preliminary results are indicative of the fact that Ukrainian nation passed it decently", - from the statement of Ivan Vakarchuk.

In his statement the Minister congratulated the participants of external testing 2008. "You have proved once again to yourself and to the whole society that insistent and untiring work leads to success", - emphasized the minister.

Of course, the minister expressed the words of thanks to all, who participated in the preparation, organization, and who conducted the external testing – these are first of all, thousands of teachers in the centres of education quality estimation.

At the end of his statement, the minister is convinced that the receiving commissions of higher educational institutions of Ukraine will accept only those students who showed the necessary level of knowledge during the external testing.

We will remind that the external testing session lasted since April 22 till June 4, 2008. During this time graduates were taking the tests on eleven subjects. They are – Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, history of Ukraine, world history, chemistry, geography, physics, biology, law science basics, economy basics, foreign literature.
