A Ukrainian woman of 82 years of age has found a method to conquer aging and while away the time on retirement. Instead of watching the television and spending time with other babushkas sitting on the bench in the yard, Galina Chernova had refreshed all high school program, went through all the preliminary tests, and drilled all the entrance exams program to enter Crimean Economic University. She passed her exams in economics and Ukrainian language successfully, and now she is a first year student of the Department of Finance.

Galina Chernova was born in 1926 in the family of the tsar’s general. She spent her childhood in Harbin, China, where her family immigrated after the Russian revolution. During the Soviet time, in 1926, the Chernovs family was sent to Kazakhstan, and later she had a chance to live in different places around the World. Now she lives in Crimea.

She has two children, six grandchildren and grand grandchildren. In Austria, she obtained musical education. Her first musical recordings and recordings of Russian humor she were published twenty years ago. At that time it had a big success.

Galina says that the knowledge in economics will help her with her current work. She is carried away with exchange operations and she earns on stakes.

Galina says that every person should have a right for receiving a good education, for it is the best possible investment into one's future.
