Learning Ukrainian or Russian Language in Ukraine

The number of foreign tourists visiting Ukraine is increasing rapidly. More than 1.7 million people visited Ukraine in 2008, which was 300,000 people more than in the year 2007. In the year 2009, the growth of the dollar and euro rates has made it 60% cheaper for foreigners to spend their vacation in Ukraine, whether it is a tourist trip or a visit with the purpose of study. The improved visa regime for entering Ukraine has also influenced the tourist dynamics positively in the recent years.

The number of educational tourists willing to study Russian language is increasing each year, too. In Ukraine, there are a number of highly professional  Russian language schools which are oriented specifically at teaching Russian to foreign students. While the Western Ukraine is popular for it's centers of Ukrainian culture and language, the eastern part of the country, as well as the Crimean peninsula, remain Russian speaking territories, which attract Russian learners to these areas.

As a response to the growing demand in learning Russian, the Discover School has set up Language learners' school in the city of Kharkiv (Kharkov). The school offers short term programs of studying Russian language for foreign guests visiting Kharkov.

The tour package includes: intensive course with native speaker teachers, visa support, finding accommodation for students, selecting learning materials, providing unique course programs developed  by native teachers, providing a certificate of completion of the course to each student, excursions and sightseeing programs, and multiple communication activities for foreign students.
