Summer Work&Travel USA: Program Description

Eligibility and requirements
According to the program requirements, participants of the program are-

  • students of accredited universities (non-graduate years), aged from 18 to 27;
  • fluent in conversational English and are capable of working efficiently in English language environment;
  • prepared to work in service companies in the USA;
  • ready to sign an agreement with employer and to follow the requirements set by the agreement.

Documents needed-

  • International passport;
  • university document certifying the student's status (signed and sealed by a university department head);
  • resume in English;
  • document-size photos;
  • reference form;
  • proof of sufficient funds;
  • liability release;
  • application form filled out by the student (we'll provide it when you visit us);
  • valid email and signature.

The details and instructions about prearing the documents and photos for the program will be provided to you by our company workers.

Steps of the Program
Most of the students try to pass all their spring semester exams beforehand, and leave Ukraine for the USA by the end of May. Some take their flights later, in June. But all students must return back to Ukraine not later than the end of September, to continue their academic study.

Esch student takes the following steps to participate in the Program-

  • learn about the program and sign up an agreement with us;
  • make the first portion of payment (equivalent of $400) within 7 days after signing of the contract;
  • take a test in English language (our company worker will assess your level in English and make an entry about it into your application papers);
  • provide all documents and copies of the documents that will be requested. Fill out your application form (our worker will help you with the paperwork);
  • select the job in the provided list of available jobs, and we will start the necessary paperwork process related to your employment;
  • make the next portion of payment for the program ($1000) and receive your USA job confirmation by acquiring the so-called DS-2019 form - a document that gives you the right for temporary work in the USA as the program participant;
  • prepare for the USA embassy interview and obtain your visa to enter the USA (you will be required to pay $131 to the US Embassy for the visa interview);
  • select a flight option and buy your air tickets (the cost of the tickets depends on a number of factors so we cannot provide the cost estimation here). We will help you with finding the best options of air flights;
  • take final instructions and orientation from our team, collect all necessary papers and things and fly to the USA;
  • right upon arrival to the USA, obtain your SSN - the document allowing you to legally work in the USA (you will need your DS-2019 form there);
  • meet your employer and start your American work and travel adventure!
